The download links are at the bottom of this post. It does take Patreon up to 5 days to process your information after you subscribe before your email will work to sign into the game. We hope to include answers for most questions here. If we don't have it covered or you need further assistance, you can reach our staff via DMs through the 'chats' tab. TO DOWNLOAD THE GAME
-Look carefully at which PC version you download. There are 3 options, two for windows and then Mac.
-Copy the decryption key for the version you want to download.
*Pro tip, do not copy the words 'decryption key'- we have done this when in a hurry several times.
-Click the download link for the version you want to download, and paste the decryption key
-This will open the MEGA site and you can download the beta onto your PC. You do not have to set up a MEGA account to access the download.
-You'll then unzip the files, open the unzipped files, and open the YB application. YAY!
Patreon takes up to 5 days to process you after you subscribe, even if you were a member before. We don't actually verify or approve emails, we upload all of the active subscribers emails on one big list every day. It may take Patreon 1 day to finish their processing, but it will not take more than 5. Please reach out to our staff in DMs for help. -Remember the game itself is still in a BETA and is rough around the edges
-When you press 'Continue' at the end of Day 2, it's going to take a few minutes for Day 3 to load as it is SO big! Don't panic if it say 'the program isn't responding'. Just wait a few more seconds.
-You are now allowed to stream days 1, 2, 3 and 4!
Of course 5 is now off limits. . . For now.

Hi! Your email works to sign into the beta for the game before it's complete and released on steam as a part of your subscription, so it does stop after you are no longer subscribed. :)

Hellooo! I've been subscribed to your Patreon for over a year now, and I'm not usually someone who leaves comments, but I wanted to ask how come Day 5 isn't working anymore? It used to work fine before. All the other days run perfectly, and Day 5 technically does too, but it's extremely laggy and the screen is completely black. It covers all the scenes and visuals, and the only thing visible is the text, which is still very laggy. I checked the comments and noticed that a few other people seem to be having the same issue. I hope it's okay that I brought it up, since I'm aware it might get tiring being asked the same questions over and over again 😭 But I hope that this issue might get fixed eventually. Big fan, by the way!! ^_^
There are several things that are causing this and we are collecting info while working on improving gameplay. If you are a member of our official Discord server, you can send in reports for bugs when these moments happen and that helps us to trace the path. Some could be memory or operating speed. We are making improvements and have an update coming soon. :)

Hey, how are you? I downloaded the game and everything works fine on the first few days, but when I get to Day 5, the screen goes dark. Sometimes only the characters' bodies appear without their faces, and I can't get past the middle of the day before the game crashes. What should I do? you need to wait up to 5 days (in some occasions it can be less than 5 days) to get verified, so yeah, you should wait a bit longer. (also, just in case you need to put the email you signed in on patreon)
Super excited! Can I ask for a small but meaningful UI tweak? It would be super nice to be able to tab between the Patreon email and the game password instead of manually having to click on each field. I’m used to tabbing between input fields to enter information (as well as others) so it would be a big help. Otherwise, love the game ♥️

I believe it's just your PC virus settings detecting that you are trying to open a previously foreign zip file. I also receive the same message anytime I start up a new updated YB game, just run it anyway. The game is completely safe! :)

I suggest saving a day earlier and just quickly doing whatever route you had done, like save on day 3

Hey! Let me start by saying I love the game so far and have for the last 5 years. The art is getting better day after day and I can't wait to see the direction this game takes. Having said that, I did have a few things I wanted to ask/say. For starters, I noticed if you load a save, the controls in the top left don't load with them... It can be a little annoying. Along with that, on the lover path, I noticed the game will crash a lot on random points if you fast forward. Now for what I wanted to ask, I was wonder if you planned on redoing the first 3 days at any time soon? I love them but do think they could really use a rework and some new art to help it match the latter days aka 4 and 5.

I don't know what's happening, but every time I get to day 5 the game freezes. The dialogue appears, but the sprites of Peter or other characters are bugged: either they don't appear and only the dialogue is shown, or they have no face and usually there's no scenery at all, just the dialogue. I have a genuine question about YB and I have no clue where to ask it so I'm just going to ask here and hope for an answer 🤞. How does YB feel about age regression/people who age regress? How would he act/react if he found out his darling age regresses? This is a question I've been dying to know for so long an never got the balls to ask 😭
A simmilair question was once asked on the YBF tumblr but they don't answer questions there anymore. From what i've found aslong as the age regression is SFW and just a coping mechanism he's okay w it.

If ur on a windows computer you just right click on the folder and there should be an option that says "extract all" that's how you unzip a folder. you can then delete the still zipped folder and keep the unzipped one! :)

I downloaded the new version and entered everything correctly! But it seems that I only still have access to the demo because I keep receiving the "Thank you for playing the demo" screen. I understand that developing a game can take time, but it would be nice if in the next build the team paid some attention to trying to resolve the reason why the game never loads day 5 for some people and always crashes there. This has been happening since the last builds, and it's a bit frustrating to see that some people can enjoy the updates and others can't My pc can run any game well and still doesn't load day 5. I don't believe the problem is with mine, and I doubt it's a problem with other players pc's either

It would be really nice if it was added an option to go back to the menu after a day ends, it's a bit annoying having to leave the game, put the e-mail and password again to go to the menu

Not sure if this is a bug or intentional (because of that one other game) but in the newest version of the romance route we refer to Peter as Pedro like twice on day four lol
That + during the TV part it says Don was killed but mentions that we saw Lucy's body. It might be because I loaded an old save of the end of day three but I'm not sure

Is it just me: Almost everytime, starting day 3, the screen goes black and stays like that going into the day and when Peter comes on screen. It’s Windows 11 on a HP Chromebook. Also: Peter telling me, what he loves about me, made me cry. And I seldomly cry.🥹

try pausing the process and then star it again (not all over), it worked for me. or try using the app, itll be faster (no account needed)

So from what I've been hearing (and seeing), Mega Upload isn't behaving correctly. I was able to download it by allowing it to temporarily accept certain permissions (canvas). If that doesn't work, use their app. No account required.

Ok I love some of the add ons. From the animation with Peter set his room on fire and dies with you, to craving on his back with a knife. It's disturbing but so well done!

I don't know how to avoid grabbing the keys and messing up my escape. Whether I press the controls correctly or not, I can still manage to grab the keys, but I want the other option. How do I do it? T<T
Press and hold the left button on your mouse and your able to move the green bar around. Avoid that blue bar by luring the green one off it. The Black overlay would turn red as a way to show your failing to grab the keys. It will cause you to drop the keys and Peter spots you.

Hi! I think I encountered a bug on day 5, in the romance route. In day 4, I chose to take a bath and YB finger fucked Y/N, and in the next morning I chose to get up from the bed and light the fire. After grabbing the matchbox, I couldn't continue the route at all, it just let's me click random things on the fireplace and that's all 😕 Edit: As well in the route where YB pulls one tooth, I can't get past after I grabbed the matchbox. Edit 2: Nevermind, false alarm. It's a small piece of paper just between the apples and the books and I have to click it, FFS :))

If you're having trouble with the download hanging/freezing. Try downloading it with the Mega desktop app. I was able to get it to work that way.

Yeah it's normal, if you install the app the download takes only half the amount of time and in mh opinion is totally worth it

i have a question: Is it just me, or on day 5 (the good route), when we get up and head to light up the fire place just doesent work? like i got the matches, but i cant press the fire place to actually light it up, or do anything else (besides the dialog when we press on the apples or the candle). i mean, i had this problem since i first downloaded it, and even now nothing changed
