Lovely space. “Hunt for Red October,” was written there I believe. USSR & US troops would share the same beach for “nice things,” without any fuss, even K-9 units. Until the circus animals escaped & a brawl started who would treat the bears vs. elephants & donkeys. Arguably ended the Cold War eventually.
