Hi everyone! I created a mini mod that adds a few more storytelling features for your pregnant Sims!

This mod includes:

🌟 Assign your Sim a pregnancy month or week.
🌟 Assign your Sim a pregnancy trimester.
🌟 Pregnancy Fears and more!

PLEASE. READ. CAREFULLY.

Assign a Pregnancy Week or Month

With this mod, you will be able to give your Sims a pregnancy week or month ranging from 1 week to 40 weeks or 1 month to 9 months. You can also assign whether they are in their first, second or third trimester! You also have the choice to randomly assign!

Sims will get a special buff when they are full term (40 weeks or 9 months) and one when they are halfway there (20 weeks and 5 months).

You can access the Expecting pie menu by:

• Enabling Cheats (testing cheats true)
• The Expecting pie menu comes with three sub menus (months, weeks, and trimesters). The menu also comes with a reset interaction which will remove the features of the mod, if you want to start fresh!

Pregnancy Fear:

This mod also comes with a few social interactions. You can find them in the Deep Thoughts submenu. If your Sim performs the Admit to Having a Fear of Pregnancy interaction, there is a 50% chance that they will get the Fear of Pregnancy trait.

In order to remove the trait, your Sim can Discuss Pregnancy Fears. They will then be prompted to talk about a fear they are facing. For this mod I included 12:

• Doing it Alone
• Fear of Commitment
• Financial Worries
• I'm Not Ready
• Loss of Freedom
• Loss of Identity
• Overwhelmed by Responsibility
• Repeating Parents' Mistake
• The Unknown
• Won't Be a Good Enough Parent

Your Sim can choose whichever they want and they will be able to discuss it with another Sim of their choice. There is a 5% chance that the Sim will lose the fear once they discuss it.

There are also other interactions including: Admit you don't want to be pregnant, complaining about symptoms and sharing excitement for the pregnancy!

They can all be found in the Deep Thoughts menu.

Sibling Opinions:

I also included a small storytelling feature where Child and Teen Sims can have opinions about having siblings. They can love the idea, hate it or even be indifferent to the idea of having a sibling.

If you don't want to choose, you can also randomize how they feel about having siblings. These don't affect gameplay, but they're mostly for storytelling.

'How are Nooboos born?

Child Sims can also ask how 'nooboos' are born. Depending on which age answers the question, it can range from sensible to silly, lol. You can find this interaction in the Discuss Interests submenu for child Sims.

If your Child Sim asks a Teen-Elder the question, the adult might either answer it or evade it. There are a few answer choices they will give randomly.

If your Child Sim asks another child Sim, then the answer will be silly. These will also randomize every few times your Sim asks.

NOTE: Your Sims do NOT have to actually be pregnant for you to use this mod. Feel free to use it on any Sim (Young Adults - Elder) Also note that as of now, assigning your Sim a birth month, week and trimester are not dynamic. You will have to assign them to your Sims manually.

Will I consider making it dynamic? I'm considering it. Most persons will want many different custom durations. So it might be a feature for the future!

I really wanted to add a few more features but I'm considering more for Timelines 3.0! Stay tuned!

Compatibility:

This mod is a standalone and is therefore compatible with all pregnancy mods including Pandama’s childbirth mod, Lumpinou’s Relationship and Pregnancy Overhaul, etc.

PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU HAVE THE XML INJECTOR INSTALLED FOR THIS MOD TO WORK.
