I couldn't come up with a clever name. So, we're calling this mod Better Sponsorships.

Tis' the season to be a simfluencer! If you ever wanted your Sim to be a content creator that's taken seriously, then this mod is for you (or them I guess). It introduces:

⭐ A NEW simfluencer skill.
⭐ Paid Brand Sponsorships
⭐Luxury Brand Partnerships

This mod is for Teens to Elders.

What Does this Mod Do?

Basically, this mod allows you to give your Sims the chance to become simfluencers and create their own brand. For this, I created a 5 level Simfluencer skill that prepares them for a life of being a content creator. As they progress in this Simfluencer skill, they will have access to more interactions and opportunities. Two of them being receiving paid sponsorships and partnerships from BIG name companies.

Level 1: Work on Brand Aesthetic, Research Niche and Audience + More
Level 2: Research Brand Strategy
Level 3: Create Media Kit, Network with Influencers
Level 4: Submit Media Kit, Create Sponsorship Proposal, Apply to Become a Brand Sponsor
Level 5: Apply for Luxury Brand Partnerships (An Add-on. Get Famous is required for this)

All interactions can be found on the computer in the Sponsorships and Partnerships pie menu.

Social Media:

I know that we have a social media system in game already. But I still created my own version. Mainly for realism, and I thought Simlish social media icons were cute lol. (These are for storytelling purposes, and I'll probably be looking to expand this in the future).

Your Sim will be given the option to create an account (Simtok, SimTube, etc), then they will be given access to the Social Media Interactions (which are pretty basic, but again...for storytelling) Sims will gain in the Simfluencer skill when they perform different social media interactions.

In the Social Media Interactions, Sims will also have an option to receive payout for eligible content at LEVEL 2 of the Simfluencer skill. Here they will receive between §50-1000.

SimDobe

Your Sim will have a chance to work on their content in SimDobe (Adobe dupe lol). The subscription is §100. After your Sim pays, they will be able to work in:

• Photoshop
• Audition
• Premiere Pro
• After Effects

Again, these interactions are mainly for gameplay purposes, but it will allow your Sim to gain in the Simfluencer skill.

Brand Sponsorships:

Now for the real purpose of this mod. Once your Sim reaches Simfluencer Level 4, they will then be able to apply for brand sponsorships. They will NEED to first:

• Create a Media Kit (Level 3, Simfluencer Skill)
• Submit Their Media Kit (Level 4 Simfluencer Skill)
• Create a Sponsorship Proposal (Level 4 Simfluencer Skill. Make sure your Sim submits their media kit first)
• Then they will be able to apply for the sponsorship they want.

This mod isn't too strict. There's no limit or cool down. Your Sim can apply to as many brand sponsorships as they want. You're in control!

As of now, there are 15 brand sponsorships available are:

• Nike
• Adidas
• Puma
• Lululemon
• The North Face
• Fenty Beauty
• Rare Beauty
• Under Armour
• Sephora
• MAC
• SKIMS
• Elgato
• Corsair
• Logitech
• Apple

I know there are plenty of other brands out there, but these are available for now. Will I add more in the future? I might be willing to! See a screenshot of a few examples below:

These interactions can be found under the Brand Applications pie menu.

After your Sim gets their brand sponsorship, they will get a buff, notification, as well as a visible trait that they are sponsored.

Your Sim will then be able to access the Brand Sponsorship Interactions available. Sims will receive §1,000-5,000 for every sponsored interaction! Again, your Sim can do these when they want and as much as they want.

(OPTIONAL) Luxury Partnerships ADD-ON
(Requires Get Famous)

I created an add on that introduces 9 more luxury brands. Your Sims will be able to initiate a partnership with these brands and will have access to a few more interactions. For a luxury Brand Partnership, your Sim will ONLY NEED:

• Simfluencer Level 5
• Fame Level 4 or 5 (Get Famous Expansion Pack)

The nine (9) luxury brands available are:

• Gucci
• Chanel
• Burberry
• Hermes
• Versace
•Simowa (Rimowa dupe)
• Givenchy
•Coach
• Miu Miu

After securing a partnership, your Sim will again receive a buff and notification, as well as a visible trait that shows that they are a partner:

Your Sim will then have access to a few basic Luxury Partnership interactions that will allow your Sim to make between §10,000-20,000.

And that's it...

Remember to:
• DOWNLAOD THE MOST UPDATED VERSION OF THE XML INJECTOR
• ONLY ADD THE GET FAMOUS ADD-ON IF YOU HAVE THAT PACK.

I think that covers it! Making this mod was fun (and kind of tedious). It does require you to use your imagination as well. Nonetheless, I hope you all find some kind of enjoyment out of it. Thank you all for your support and patience.
