Update.
Hey everyone,
I know it's been a minute since I've communicated with you all. To those who've reached out, I appreciate it! A lot has been going on this past month, and these past few weeks, concerning EA going private and its buyout in general, and also in my personal life.
EA Buyout:
Concerning the buyout, I'm not totally surprised, but definitely disappointed. From the first announcement of it being just a possibility, it didn't sit well with my spirit. But knowing more about who it's connected to (Saudi Arabia's PIF, and Jared Kushner) and what that can mean for The Sims (one of EA's most inclusive games). Yup, that made it even worse.
I've never been a member of the EA Creator Network and surely have no interest in being a part of it now all things considered. Everyone had their own prerogative, sure. But if it's not obvious by now, I won't be promoting any Sims packs here on Patreon, my social medias, or in general. For what it's worth, The Sims has connected me with a lot of great people within this community across the globe. It has also been one of the many things that have helped me creatively.
For the time being, I will continue making mods here and there. For how long? We'll see. I don't wanna make any premature promises yet. But I also don't wanna sell anyone the dream that I'll always be here modding. Especially with the buyout happening next year. But if anything does change, I will try to let you all know well in advance.
Personal: (slight trigger warning)
As it relates to my personal life, I'll also keep it brief. Recently, a friend of mine has passed away; and to make things more hectic, I've been in the process of moving. So, a lot has been going on. I'm doing well. Just trying to deal with a few life transitions.
Patch Update:
Also, there is a patch update today, (November 4, 2025). Apparently, this was a pretty big update, which means a lot of mods might break as a result. However, I won't be able to update right now, since I'm not entirely stationary and not near my PC. I will still try to find a way check my mods and see if there's anything I can do, no promises. For those who don't want to update, make sure you're in offline mode. Also, be patient with modders.
Upcoming:
I do have a mod I've been working on. But with everything going on, I had put a pause on it. But, as soon as I'm stationary again, I will continue to work on that for this month.

My condolences, and I also wish you all the best with the moving process. I also agree with your commentary about EA's buyout. I found out about the purchase accidentally on another site, so this whole transition will be very interesting to witness, to say the least.

I know how that upsets the whole theme of life being and ex military wife we moved a plenty and even though my dad was not military he seemed to love to move a lot during my childhood.
