Simternships
✅ July 4, 2026: This mod is compatible with the latest game version.
REQUIREMENTS:
Core Library by LOT51
Base Game Compatible
It's not often that I make Base Game Compatible mods. It's also not often that I make mods just for teens. So, I wanted to create this mini mod that adds five (5) part time paid internships for your teen Sims which allows them to work on their skills.
Available Internships:
• Tech Intern
• Nursing Intern
• Business Intern
• Law Intern
• Social Media Intern
Teen Sims will earn between 10-12 simoleons.
These internships only come with three (3) levels, and they will be on particular days. The internship will start after your teen Sims come home from school (4:00P.M.) and will last for about 2-4 hours depending on that particular internship. It's similar to the after-school activities in game. Your teen Sims will be able to build skills such as Charisma, Logic, Writing, etc.
enjoy!

hi elle , is this compatible with the nov 4th update?
Hi Elle! I’ve translated it into Brazilian Portuguese 🇧🇷📝: https://www.patreon.com/posts/traducao-pt-br-142054788
I see you have the nursing internship. Have you thought about maybe creating Nursing Degrees (a regular one, distinguished, and graduate one)? And Also a corresponding career?
Elle!! Better Exceptions is reporting an error in this Mod's script. Mine has the latest update, so I thought I should let you know!
Hi there thank you, however this mod doesn’t contain a script. I also checked and the error is not appearing with my package. It might be an in game error of sorts. Edit: The issue with the bereavement leave interaction was fixed. So that might also have been the issue. But it is resolved now
Thanks for the mod updates!
Thank you!
This amazing! Do you think this could be something that could boost sims applications when applying for a job with your Plumjob mod?
hello!! is this mod compatible with the recent patch? : ) no rush!
Has this been updated? Also, I don't see a link
hi there, do we download both of these or just one?
Both
WOW! This is amazing! Could this be used when young adults graduate University to get a paid internship in the field of their degree? If not, could this be possible to add in this mod? :)
Hi, hun I'm adding it to my agenda! 🤍
Oooo this is nice! Would love to see an adult version of this!
Yessss!
Hello, does this mod possibly conflict with another mod? I keep thrown the 123error even with the 123error mod fixes
Hi, hun the mod doesn't conflict with any other. It is updated. I'm not entirely sure why the 123 Error is happening. Have you tried isolating the issue or repairing your game?
Something that would give you Rocket Science skill would be amazing, since it takes forever with the space rocket or book. To have a head start on it as a teen through an intern. As an example (story line) It be rabbithole internship at the space center that they could take and move into astronaut career or any other that needs rocket sience. Even a Robotics Intern would be neat for the same "it takes forever to level" reasons.
love this!
this is amazing !!
Thank you! 🤍😊
