Project Update: Odds & Ends
I'm still here! It has been a while since there has been a post about Loma, but that doesn't mean that progress has stopped. Work and family life has been extremely busy but I have still managed to make good progress toward the next beta release. Here's a quick update:
-I am excited to say that all four of the iconic grain elevators are completed and a part of the map now! I modeled and textured all four of them. There are better models in FS for sure, but for mostly decorative objects, I'm happy with the way they turned out.
-Pa's Mart has been completed. This is the little convenience/grocery store that sits across from Ma's Cafe. It has some unique features/signage that went with it so it took a while to complete, but I am really happy with how it turned out.
-ALL of the gravel roads are completed with actual "gravel". I love the way this turned out. It was a ton of work, but am glad time was spent on this unique detail.
-ALL signage has been completed. There were tons and tons of unique pieces in this department. There are even a couple seasonal signs that you may notice.
-Details are started to be added to the farms and buy points. All of the farm buildings and decorative items will be sellable to give you more flexibility.
-A third and final farm is in the process of being added. This one will have some "Montana flare" to it that I think you will like.
I'm still hoping for a mid-April release of the third beta version with all these updates as well as things I have posted about between the last version and now. It will be a big jump forward.
Thank you so much for your support. Please keep sharing your thoughts through the Discord channels!
