Dark Science #88 - The Eyes and Cat Ears of Nephiloplis
What the heck's going on with Kim? Share your theories in the comments.
This is the very first Dresden Codak comic I’ve done without Photoshop. I’m moving over to Clip Studio Paint and I really like how it turned out!
Stay tuned, dear readers, for a major relaunch of the patreon. It’s going to have more fun stuff and insider treats for all of you who are nice enough to let me keep the lights on and not starve.

Then... she didn't REALLY do science to it??
My jaw literally dropped on that last panel. Feeling inclined to go back and read the whole comic (from Hob), to try and piece this new information in. Thanks for your beautiful work!
I’ve been wondering if hob and the super twins and the time travelers relate to this story! It might explain some of the prejudice against mezzodes and disdain for robot repair. I have no idea how to reconcile Kim’s “fake” memories and not having a mother. Loving the art and story!!! So excited to see what happens next!
What - what. Goddang it, what is going on? Haha. PS As a long time Photoshop user, really nice work adapting to Clip Studio!
Hmm, she's a clone of Yeong-Soo Kim, with some modifications, including the extra X chromosome.
One of my favorite things about this comic is that with every new page that comes out, I have to revise my theories, but it never feels like being jerked around. Just new evidence and new questions. <3
Thanks so much! I plan all this stuff years in advance, so I make sure never to be just pulling things out of my butt for the sake of a twist.
Holy smokes, the surprises keep coming. I love where this is going.
