I'd love an explainer on motifs across Dark Science. I'm particularly interested in the lantern motif that's shown up a few times (Somno's staff, the Pirated Museum, etc.). It's also in the 'Lantern Season' one-off. Is it supposed to represent something like memory?
I've always assumed it was a callout to Diogenes' Lantern (or a Dark variation on it)
