I need YOUR questions for a new comic series!
So I'm starting a new side comic tentatively called "DC Minis" that will go up every other week, opposite Dark Science (making Dresden Codak a weekly comic)! They're going to be short comics based on questions I get from the Patreon here. You can ask basically anything, as long as it's related to Dark Science, and it doesn't have to be especially serious. Some examples:
What's Melchior's favorite food?
Has Vonnie ever seen Revolutionary Girl Utena?
How did Kim go so long without noticing that she's gay?
What would the cast look like in a Dark Science AU where they're all anime highschool students?
Which character is the best at Mario Kart?
The above sketch is kind of the vibe we're going for. So you can ask questions here for now, and for every batch of DC Minis that I finish I'll post another prompt for you folks. I hope this sounds fun, because I think it will be!

how many tries did Ling need before she got the key lime pie recipe just right?
Ling doesn't seem the least bit weirded out by Kim's favorite food. Is she blinded by love, or is her own palate a bit peculiar? Then again, if Naglfar only has fried food, I suspect most of the cast has a bizarre diet, aside from apparently Vonnie, who can cook! It's all carnival food, isn't it? The world's fair that never ended and all.

I don't think this is a 'make a fun comic' question prompt but I've never quite known if there's a correct way to 'hear' the squigglyness of Kim's speech bubbles? is she mumbly? quiet? is it always literal or just done consistently for consistency's sake? just artistic license/vibes?
Y'know that's a good question. In my head that's just a way to show that she kind of has a creaky, warbly voice. Kinda like someone who might go days without talking.

Ever since episode 4 I’ve been obsessed with the enormous chain attached to Nephilopolis. The one that supports the rail system Kim rode in on at the beginning. Where are both ends attached? What is its purpose? Are there additional similar chains? Why was Bogan on that train, anyway?
What if the Dark Science main characters played Dungeons & Discourse together?
I pick Kim Yeon-Soo for best Mario Karter. I reckon he was speedrunning it during his college days while studying engineering. Q: Which character would win a cook-off?
When was the last time Vonnie saw her brother? Did he come to the city, or did she visit him? Or, has she not actually seen him since coming to the city? Follow up: if Ron was made a Dark Scientist, how would he (ab)use the power?
What is Elith looking for in a partner beyond that one moment with Kim?
The Department Of Scheduling (I just made that up, but there must be one) has scheduled Happy Hour for 4pm to 7pm this Thursday. All hostilities are suspended during that time. The Good Guys and the Bad Guys adjourn to a bar for a break. Which bar? What do our heroes and their nemeses drink? Can they play foosball/pinball/whatever without things degenerating to a brawl? Who will need an air taxi home?

Instead of anime high school, how about doing a reverse Equestria Girls and turning Kim & Co. into ponies? Obvious, maybe, but assigning wings, horns, and Cutie Marks (TM) takes some thought and stimulates debate.

I'm guessing that up until now, neither of them has had an opportunity to try dancing. They've been fighting/on the run/whatever for so long. So it could make for a funny comic where they discover that they're REALLY good at dancing, but only with each other! Solo dancing, or dancing with others just doesn't provide that necessary spark.
I want to know literally everything about Melchior. Favorite food for sure. Also, favorite movie, who would voice him, college major, how he wound up in Opposition, &c., &c.
