Looks like everyone is safe as she faces down the bounty hunters. But I do worry if Kim is bluffing. The Key lime pie on hotdog bun, no-doubt gave her a calorie boost, but is it enough to sustain her for a battle against all of them? Sirius is Ling's to defeat, and I suspect she's going to make an entrance.

It's less the power of homosexuality and more about the power about being yourself, whomever you are. She had less of that when she wasn't entirely sure who she was in any regard. She certainly also became more powerful when she learned that her childhood as she remembered it was mostly a lie.
That's true, but that's also what we mean when we talk about the power of gay. It's the strength that comes from having a deeper self-knowledge, even if that may make your life harder.
I have tons of fun with the Power of Gay jokes, but honestly there's also a strong element in the past hundred pages of Kim actually liking her body at last and not being ashamed to admit it. She's not hiding herself behind formal clothing anymore, which she was doing even for a little while after picking her own body and getting shape-changing clothes. Of course part of that is probably that she wants to look good for Ling, but she's come out of her shell pretty dramatically as Dark Science has continued. She's not just supported by others for the first time in ages, she's proud of herself, too.
Absolutely! She's so much more comfortable in her own skin now. Ling certainly helped in a lot of ways, but yeah, Kim's also just grown a lot and understands herself much better these days
