Hi everyone! 💚

I’m excited to share the first public version of TINISIMS’s CAS ToolKit, a new mod designed to make navigating Create-a-Sim faster, easier, and more enjoyable—especially for players with large amounts of custom content.

This is only the first phase of the project. My goal is to keep improving the ToolKit, explore new features, maintain compatibility with future game updates, and make the CAS experience increasingly comfortable and intuitive.

What does the ToolKit do?

The ToolKit introduces keyboard navigation and a favorites system directly inside CAS.

You can browse CAS items and presets using:

• A – Previous item

• D – Next item

• W – Move up one row

• S – Move down one row

• R – Reset preset

Navigation wraps correctly when reaching the beginning or end of the catalog, making it much easier to explore large collections without constantly using the mouse.

⭐CAS Favorites⭐

The star button allows you to mark your favorite CAS items for quicker access.

Favorites are available across clothing, accessories, hairstyles, facial details and other supported CAS categories. Support has also been extended to facial presets such as:

• Eyes

• Noses

• Mouths

• Eyebrows

Please note that preset favorites are currently session-based. I hope to expand and improve this system in future releases.

⚠️ Favorites Limit

For now, the number of favorites is limited to 500. This allows the mod to manage favorites efficiently without putting too much strain on loading times or the game itself.

If the mod proves to be stable over time, I'll try increasing this limit in future updates.

✅More CAS Columns compatibility✅

The ToolKit is available in four separate versions:

• 3 Columns

• 4 Columns

• 5 Columns

• 6 Columns

Each version was specifically built around the corresponding version of More Columns in CAS. You must install the ToolKit version that matches your More Columns package.

For example:

• 3-column ToolKit + 3-column More Columns

• 4-column ToolKit + 4-column More Columns

• 5-column ToolKit + 5-column More Columns

• 6-column ToolKit + 6-column More Columns

⚠️ Install only one ToolKit version at a time. Never mix different column versions.

1. Choose the ToolKit version matching your More Columns version.

2. Place both .package files inside your Mods folder (same folder is better)

3. Make sure only one ToolKit version is installed.

4. Delete localthumbcache.package.

5. Start the game and test the controls in CAS.

NOTE: PLS READ THE FILE INTO THE ZIP FILE!
