GShade vs ReShade

I was using Gshade for years but after the malware incident, many people were saying we shouldnt even have it installed on our computers at this point. Just for safey, I switched to reshade and its been just as good :3

I use gshade I've never run into any issues with it really.. If I dislike the lighting I just switch to a different one.

i use gshade because i've already been using it for a long time now. plus you can make ur own easily. you could convert reshade presets in gshade so i personally think thats good enough for me!

🤣 I have switched reshade to gshade because when I have update this application recently... I was so many problems with presets and effects... 🥲 I am using gshade since some days annnd for the moment that's really great for me and easier to use, I hope that's help you to make a choice 🙏🏽 Hm i have read the others comments, finally reshade and gshade had the same problems, so... 🤔😮‍💨 So tired

I use reshade. I wanted to make the switch but bc of the malware issues in the past i dont want that to happen again and also ive heard ppl got issues with their gshade presets a few weeks ago bc of the gshade update. I'm gonna stick to reshade bc i've never had any issues tbh

Theyre basically the same although in my opinion reshade makes my shaders look more vibrant and gshade makes them darker. So I use reshade for the most accurate coloring based on presets I already own. Some ppl will argue that gshade is better quality but I see no reason evidence to suggest that

I used to use GShade... but after it was revealed that it had malwear for that short period of time it terrified me into reshade. Since then, I haven't gone back and have tweaked everything to my liking 🥰

what’s your reason to switch? as an avid user of both, there’s very little difference between them. gshade is just more optimized for lower end pcs/laptops but it works nearly the same. and now that certain shaders are compatible with gshade, there isn’t any real reason to switch to reshade imo. UNLESS you want to mess around with experimental shaders that may not be available for gshade yet. for some, that was relight but now relight is compatible with gshade. there isn’t any real reason to switch in my opinion!
