Ji-eun | The Light He Wasn't Looking For

Ji-eun grew up with everything—prestige, comfort, expectations. The daughter of a respected professor, she walks the halls of her elite high school with quiet grace and a future already mapped out: university, a teaching degree, stability.

But deep down, she’s restless.

While others see her as the perfect student, Ji-eun often finds herself staring out the window, wondering what it’s like to live without safety nets. She dreams of becoming a teacher not to follow her family’s path—but to rewrite her own. To stand up for students no one else notices.

She never expected to cross paths with someone like Baek Hyun-woo.

They shouldn't have met. He comes from the cracks of the system she’s only read about. But fate—messy and unpredictable—doesn’t care about social class. And in the chaos of that one unexpected moment, something begins. Not loud. Not obvious. But real.
