Money Troubles adds new social interactions for Sims who are struggling financially. These interactions become available when a household's funds are around §4,000–§7,000 or less.

The available interactions depend not only on the household's finances, but also on a Sim's mood and life situation. Sims may insist that they're doing fine even when they're actually feeling overwhelmed. Employed Sims can also worry about their low wages, talk about the need to save money, and share their financial concerns with others.
