Disclaimer - About my Harry Potter-inspired creations
Before anything else, I want to make something very clear:
I do not support J.K. Rowling or her harmful views.
The Harry Potter skins I create are 100% fan-made, by fans and for fans.
They are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or financially connected to JKR in any way.
This work doesn’t give her a single cent, it simply celebrates a universe that shaped the childhood of so many of us, long before the author revealed her current stance.
Many of us have reclaimed this story. It no longer belongs to one person, it belongs to the community that grew up with it, re-imagined it, and continues to make it a place of kindness and imagination.
If you wish to enjoy the Harry Potter world without funding JKR or her transphobic foundation, you can absolutely do so: buy items second-hand (it’s better for your wallet and for the planet), or enjoy fan content like custom Sims creations, none of which benefit her financially.
This Patreon is a safe space. My HP-inspired skins are a tribute to our shared childhood, to our inner worlds, and to the actors and creators who have spoken up for inclusion and love.
We deserve to keep the magic without the cruelty.
More HP-related skins are coming, including collaborations with inclusive creators who share the same spirit.
I know my followers are thoughtful, open-minded people, but I still wanted to make my stance crystal clear!

You're one of my favorite creators and i love everything you do, thank you. I also feel that your disclaimer was unnecessary. The sims 4 and HP are my escape from reality, my neutral space, I don't want to think about gender and/or cultural divisive politics at all.
Just a thought, but the HP 'trio' do NOT support JKR's views and in fact Daniel Radcliffe (Harry Potter) is a devout supporter of the LGBTQ+ community. JKR is just mad cause most transwomen are better looking than she is.
Gross comment. Real women wouldn't say something like this.
I enjoy your work a lot. I think you should feel free to create what you want without the fear of possibly upsetting a minority amount of people. There is certainly a way to separate art from the artists, on anything really. I support your stance to say what you feel on this however.
Thank you so much, AceCakee! It really means a lot. I’m just trying to do my best, to create with care, without hurting anyone 💖
Unfortunately JKR has made it very clear she actively views *any* engagement with her IP as implicit support for her actions and her views. By engaging with it in any way whatsoever you *are*, however intentionally, supporting her and her bigotry by keeping the IP relevant and her along with it. I appreciate that those books were important for a lot of people as children - myself included at the time - but continuing any kind of engagement with it, even under the guise of reclamation, is still seen by her as support of her views.
Hey, thank you for sharing your point of view, I truly hear what you’re saying. I completely understand that JKR claims any engagement with her IP equals support, but I don’t share that perspective. Once an artwork enters the world, it becomes part of culture, it no longer belongs only to its creator, especially when that creator uses it to exclude or harm others. What fans do today is an act of separation and reclamation. It’s about saying: this story mattered to us long before her hate did. My goal isn’t to support her, directly or indirectly, it’s to honour what that universe once represented for so many of us: friendship, courage, and imagination without prejudice. I completely respect if others choose to step away from it entirely, but reclaiming it with love and inclusivity is, for me, another way of resistance.
Thank you so much for putting into words what so many of us struggle to say. HP was and is my happy place to defeat depression. Thank you.
Thank you so much 💖 I completely understand, HP has been a comfort space for many of us. I just want to keep that light alive, in our own way.
