Hello, everyone. I'm alive. I'M AAAAAALIVE!

So, where did I disappear to, and did I even disappear at all? For two whole months I've been working hard on the plot for a new story branch. Believe it or not, it's finished! All 102 pages. I know it's been rough for your guys: no news, no art, no releases. But in the long run, this break will work out in everyone's favor since it's terribly difficult for me to switch back and forth between drawing and writing. And now I won't have to do that for the next three months. Besides, I have a loose deadline for finishing the game, so it was very important to check off a few tasks to better manage my time. And one of those tasks was the storyline. While writing, I realized that if I kept being the one writing the script, I physically wouldn't be able to finish the game on time. That's why the third and final branch required bringing in a scriptwriter, so now I can return to drawing, which I'm very happy about.

Still, the game's development hasn't really slowed down. While I was busy stringing letters into words and words into sentences, my team managed to put together a mini-storyline for the saleswoman at the clothing store. There are a few delicious scenes along with three lovely animations. I'll reveal all that a little later, with the release of another build that includes the intro scene for Miss Callahan. In the meantime, I've re-uploaded the new game client, which fixes ALL currently known bugs. My tester has played through the game twice—all branches, every minigame, and all side quests.

By the way, a lot of the "bugs" weren't actually bugs but rather the result of players overlooking something. For example, in the part where the player ends up with a TORN church flyer, they need to put it back together in a puzzle minigame and only then take it to Igor. Still, some players would head straight to Igor and couldn't figure out why the quest wasn't progressing. Same goes for a number of other quests. Please, do pay attention when submitting reports! We waste a lot of time when we have to review tickets like these.

Still, some bugs were indeed legit. For example, a pop-up window displaying an error message. Unfortunately, this error is essentially a death screen and is caused by the fact that you saved at some point that was altered during development. When you load an old save file after an update, even a tiny change will cause a crash. The only way to fix this is to either start over or send us the save file. If you simply submit a ticket saying there's an error, we can’t do anything. What we need is the actual save file. Unfortunately, this is a common thing for any game still in alpha.

That said, as of now, there are no game-breaking bugs on the Windows edition.
