Moving Away From Vimeo
Hello all,
This is a just a small behind the scenes update for you all. But I will no longer be using Vimeo to link videos from Patreon and instead uploading directly to Patreon. I have been using Vimeo since I began reactions and it has worked fairly well, as uploading video directly to Patreon wasn't even an option back then.
However I had an email from Vimeo asking for an extra $12,000 yearly fee on top of the fee I'm already paying as we keep consistently exceeding the bandwidth limit there. Basically you all are watching the videos too consistently over there haha! (Which is a great problem to have). Of course paying $12,000 out of nowhere is not really an option for me, so I will no longer be using Vimeo.
The other downside to this is they told me I only have until Tuesday (16th June) to pay the fee or my account there will be paused (videos no longer accessible). After multiple emails about this, they are not budging on that date. Luckily I have backups for 95% of videos I have ever recorded or edited, so it will by a very painful task of manually uploading each of those videos to Patreon instead and fixing the posts, which is worth it in the long run. I don't get back from America until the 20th so if you could allow a bit of a grace period of a couple of weeks for older posts (this won't effect posts from the last week or future posts) I would really appreciate it.
This ultimately won't change anything about the content, just more of a behind the scenes update for you all, and have been told watching content directly from Patreon is better and more accessible anyway. Any feedback about that would be appreciated though.
Thank you.
Joe

Hi. I see your The Good Place reactions are still Vimeo. Would you be able to update these at your earliest convenience. Thanks a lot.
Thanks for the news. A lot of Dawson's creek eps are bugging.
I hope the Gilmore girls series is included in that 95%. My favourite show ever
Can't believe that. Its absolutely insane. Glad you have majority saved, I went to watch friends with you for the 5th time and thought id lost them forever. Im happy to wait however long it takes
hey no rush joe but just wondering when the oc reactions will likely be back up and running, thanks!
Hi, I was wondering when the This is Us content will be re-uploaded. Thank you!
Thanks for the updade :) I'll come back and check on the off-campus reactions later .
sorry for all the work you have to do but I like this change! Vimeo doesn't keep track of what I watched like Patreon does :)
12K is absolutely insane.
it's a ridiculous price to keep using something I've been using for around 10 years
Hi I was wondering where the heated rivalry reactions were I see some are blocked on YouTube so I thought id try here but I can’t find them.
They will be reuplaoded too
I mean, this seems like a good problem to have “The reason I haven’t done the sensible thing yet is going away, so let’s do what’s been a good while coming”
Is adventure Time gone for good?😭Story gets so good
Finished adventure time season 1 and will be bulk uploading them when I’m back :)
Will you be moving all of your One Tree Hill reactions back to Patreon? I just started watching those last month. I on season 2 and doubt I'll be able to finish the 8 season I have left in 3 days.
Every show I’ve ever done yes, I’ll start with the more popular shows like that and Gilmore girls, friends, HIMYM e.t.c and work my way through. There may be a few days where the episodes of one tree hill you’re at won’t be viewable but I’ll get to them asap.
We totally understand Joe
