Ye Olde UI [WIP]
Go way further back in time by adding this medieval/historical inspired UI into your game! UI design is inspired by The Sims Medieval; paper, wood, leather, metal textures sprinkled all throughout :-) also a brown/coffee UI if you squint hard enough.
This UI mod is currently in alpha stage, therefore many UIs are still missing their recolors and are subject to change. Any suggestions or feedback are appreciated!
📥 Installation
// Main mod
Before installing/updating, remove any old versions of Ye Olde UI whenever there's a new mod update and clear your caches.
Download & extract the zip file into your Mods folder.
// Extras
[Ye Olde UI] Splash screens - file to replace the TS4 intro screen. Choose depending on which game language you use. Available in 2 versions.
[Ye Olde UI] Loading screens - loading screen overrides. Requires Refreshed Loading Screen (all versions can be installed at once). Preview's cut off on 16:10 monitors but should look like the splash screen on 16:9 monitors.

haha thank you so much! if an idea comes to mind, then definitely 😋 I looked into TSM plumbob concept art and was quite intrigued by some of the stained glass options, not sure how well it will translate in-game though soo we shall see

Yesssssss 👍☺️ I love it! Love the variety of textures, and subtle fading everywhere there's parchment-beige present. Perfect ! My only idea is: Please consider a variant that has no 'Windows PC Blue' text anywhere; but instead 'Rustic Brown-Black'? Like; all text in all UI elements (traits text, header text, the pie menu text, names, etc) if they can all be the same font color, across everything, as this bit: https://i.ibb.co/JNF7Rhz/Screenshot-20261015-220233.jpg Would that be possible? I've thought about it, but it would make the mod bit heavier and increase the amount of possible mod conflicts since that would require editing the GFX file (like Chalk'd), which is the main resource other UI mods often modify, so I wanted to avoid that as much as possible 😅 I am considering making a single separate mod strictly to replace the text color which can be used with any UI mods, but that isn't a priority right now.
Its the way I was just thinking this morning if you would ever make a medieval ui lol great minds think alike 🙂↕️🙂↕️🙂↕️🙂↕️🙂↕️
