One Pump Chump - Act 1 Release
The first act of One Pump Chump is finally here, and it's a hefty release that rivals the size of some entire ero games.
One Pump Chump features elements of my usual story-driven visual novels mixed with role-playing mechanics. OPC gives you more agency to express your character, offering a wider range of choices when dealing with its cast and wider world. The player even has a surprisingly high number of opportunities to permanently remove certain characters from the game, and it's not always obvious if that's the correct choice to make.
The turn-based combat is a lot more involved than Unveiling the Unknown was, which was functionally just a clicker game. Battles have a lot more expression, with the ability for the player to choose multiple skills, target a range of enemies or body parts, and sometimes there are even unique actions or events within combat encounters, the Kitsune fight being a favorite of mine.
Overall, very happy with the result; all the different parts came together really well. It's definitely one of the strongest pieces of content I've released over my time as a dev, and I hope you enjoy it!
