0.61 Release and Server Issues

EDIT: So the server is back up, even though the configuration hasn't changed some users are reporting SSL related errors. I have not been able to fix this. It seems rather isolated and users report using a VPN fixes it for them.

I am waiting for the provider support to get back to me but everything seems correctly configured on the server side.

So 0.61 released the other day, without an early access period. This was due to 0.6 release a while back being the last planned clean install required. Ideally you would just choose the update option from the main menu to download the latest version, including the above 0.61 release.

I am working on a system to allow users to get early access from in game which will be released in a small patch soon. The next larger patch is going to be the clothing sponsor focused one.

You may also have noticed some issues downloading patches and mods starting earlier today. The server website is hosted on has been timing out for around 12 hours now. After looking into it for a few hours today I am still not sure what the cause is. I was writing the "0.61 release" post after some stability fixes the last couple days and this happens.

The mod files, database and everything else is backed up and fine. I have contacted the site support but they are unlikely to be working on a weekend. Long term I need a better provider, maybe moving everything over to cloudflare. That is not a quick, easy or a process I am familiar with so I am not sure when that would happen.

I am going to try get a temporary fix out tomorrow, where it will cache the last API response in cases like this but since I can't easily release patches I will need to supply the files for a manual install.
