0.5 Release
So the main focus of this update has been the mod manager and letting users more easily download, install and update mods. Not all mods are uploaded to the manager yet and you can still install mods the old fashion way.
This system also allows me to push updates to users much easier so be sure to have update checking enabled and you will get warnings about updates.

All changes are in visible in the text file within the download folder or on the main menu if update checking is allowed.
The game has a hotfix button on the top right of the main menu to update now(you need to allow the game to check for updates, which is also on the top right)
OTHER NOTES:
The game does require 'online' features now, it expects you to download the generic videos from the mod manager. I will add a work around in the future but for now you will need to download it from the mod manager.
MOD INFO:
There may be issues when downloading mod packs or too many mods at once, if this happens I suggest lowering the concurrent downloads in the options menu.
Mods should be compatible with 0.5 BUT the expected folder structure for girl addons has changed. They are now expected to go into _mods/addons/{girl_id}/{mod_id}
Not all mods are available in the mod manager yet, I am going to start working on populating it soon.
If you copy your old mods over to 0.5 be sure to NOT copy over the `example_mods` folder, they have been integrated into the game.
SAVE INFO:
The update is not compatible with earlier saves, since so many girls are going to change where they are installed it would have broken saves even if other changes didn't.

Should I Unzip the ModingTools?
To use them you would need to unzip them yes, I should add a link to Warbl's modding guide to the mod website next to the tools download. By the time you read this it should be there.

It is still happening? The site seems to be fine at the moment. Can you give me anymore details? Are you using Mac by chance? Because the game needs to be in your system applications because other locations are read only.

Sorry for not seeing your post earlier. I think the mod server may have been down on the providers side. Is the error still happening?

0.45 saves aren't compatible with 0.5, you would need a new save.

Not yet, I haven't really had a moment to breathe with all the fixes and user support needed atm.
If I may say so... the new mod manager is AMAZING!!! Great piece of work! It makes the base game and extra content much more accessable, manageable and keeping everything up to date.
in which folder do you place the generic video expansion?
If you hit the green arrow after its downloaded it should install it for you. It goes into "game/vids" but the idea of the mod manager is so you don't need to manually install stuff. The game also checks for the manifest file being present, so if you are manually unzipping it you will need to copy that as well.
What about for the android folk out here? Just curious hoping we get some good news too :)
I thought I responded yesterday but I guess I hit cancel instead of reply. The mod manager should allow Android users to mod their games as well, it worked during my early testing. I do need to test it with the new code but I am hopeful that is will work with few changes needed. It might take a week or so longer to release it depending how much work is needed to make it compatible.
It keeps saying you need to load at least 5 mods. I loaded like 20
I thought it best to get the update out and fix user experience oversights as they are reported. I will be sure to let users know the mods need to be activated after downloading (unless auto install is enabled). Same for the generic videos expansion, I will highlight it as required and filter it to the top.
