0.45 Public Release
0.45 Early Access has ended, this is the 0.455 public release.
Things have been quiet for a while but I have been working on the game, if you want to see news about the game I do suggest joining the Discord, I am active on it and often post update images and ideas.
This update was intended to focus on sponsor changes but ended up being mostly quality of life changes and backend work. A lot of it was allowing modders to do more intricate things with locations, jobs and upgradable locations.
There are likely a few more things I am going to work on before the 0.45 public release to freshen up the exam gameplay loop. I won't say what my next focus is going to be because it aways changes once I start.
The plan is to polish the progression/corruption loop. I want to make it slower and less one dimensional, making stats targetted and focused. I also have plans on a mod manager built into the game, allowing more easily downloading, installing, uninstalling and updating mods. This is going to be a big undertaking but I do think it is needed.
There is a full changelog included in the download folder to avoid a very long message here.
EDIT: Added Android APK and other downloads updated to include 0.455a hotfix.
EDIT2: There were some issues with the Android caused by my file finding optimizations. I didn't catch them because it worked fine in the renpy emulation of the Android version.
I have fixed and reuploaded a working version now. Sorry about that.
0.455:
0.455 is 0.42 save and mod compatible so you can copy those over. Do NOT copy over mods/examplemods".
There is no 0.42X -> 0.455 patch because of some video name changes.
Mods which add clothing rules are NOT compatible because the system has changed in 0.455
If you had access to the early access versions of 0.455 I do suggest a clean install with 0.455. Several video naming changes happened and cannot be easily patched.

Hi! I tried downloading the Mac version of Corrupted Academy 0.455 from the link you posted (https://gofile.io/d/1FQ02r), but unfortunately it doesn’t work — the file won’t open or seems corrupted. I ended up downloading version 0.453 from F95zone just to test if the game works on my Mac, and that one launches fine. Could you please re-upload the 0.455 Mac version (or provide an alternate mirror)? Or maybe check if the current file has issues? I’m using macOS [macOS Sonoma version 14.2.1]. Thanks a lot for your help and for your work on the game!
Looks like the download link has expired. I updated the link for now since I don't have the old 0.455 version on my PC anymore.
Would love to see modding within the game on android. I'm honestly willing to mod this game up to 7+ GB for replay value...plus I'd really like to get that Penny Pax mod. Great job 👌
0.5 has a built in mod manager page which lets users quickly and easily install hotfixes and mods with just a click. I have also gone through the effort to make sure it works on Android.
There are a ton of little bugs that have been brought to my attention, just letting you know I am working on a hotfix and will have it out as soon as possible. Most are already fixed I just need to test the fixes to make sure they are working correctly.
