I heard this song at the vet's office last week and couldn’t help but hum it the whole time. I knew right away I wanted to sing it for the I Hate Karaoke! Karaoke Series—and voilà!

This is the first song on Fiona Apple’s When the Pawn... album, and when I heard it with fresh ears... I was blown away. It slams—from the very first moment all the way to the end.

It’s been so hot lately, and when you're recording, you can’t have a fan or air conditioner on. So I turned them off and nearly melted. It was like Dante’s Neck Crease Inferno up in here.
