About Update 0.5.7 (Avis)
Hello everyone!
Today, we're releasing the beta version of update 0.5.7 (Avis). For the next week, it will be available exclusively to our Professor support tier.
This also means that version 0.5.6 (Depulso) is now available for the Student tier!
So, what's new in update 0.5.7?
A new potion-crafting minigame. In future patches, you'll see it much more often as we integrate it into older quests as well.
A fully animated dialogue model for Elizabeth.
New gestures and emotions have been added to all of Elizabeth's dialogue scenes.
2 new quests from Victoria to restore new buildings in the Mansion (where you can find some of her new photos).
5 new personal quests for Elizabeth (featuring comic-style scenes) that unlock after you restore the library.
Added a "click to continue" mechanic in interactive scenes. This allows you to take your time to view the art before the next text or buttons appear. We'll be using this for new scenes from now on and will gradually update old ones.
Fixed Victoria's flickering in her office at night. (Yes, she's a ghost, but flickering that intensely is just improper!)
Updated the main menu.
Fixed some lines being attributed to the wrong character.
Added a new quest selection feature for dialogues. If you have several tasks that involve talking to the same character, a separate menu will now appear, allowing you to choose which quest you want to discuss. This will help you keep track of the narrative.
Fixed a bug related to character death in Journey.
While this version is in early access, we are already starting work on the next update.

this is another great chapter; many thanks for making and sharing it.
one question: when we're told to go to the Forest Edge, are the moss and contacts a random appearance (sometimes they're there, sometimes not?)...because for me, the random is always essentially rolling a "not there this time" so I try again another evening/night. thought to mention it; sorry.

Any chance of including the game name in the various updates? Love keeping up with release notes for things, but struggling with the pattern of most creators not reminding folks which creation each patch list is for, and it gets hard to keep track.
Hi! Until you mentioned it, it never even crossed my mind to do that. But you're right—a lot of emails from different games can pile up in the inbox. From now on, we'll include the game's name in the subject line :)
