Ownable and "Functional" Cars
What does it do?
With this mod you can buy cars in the game (at the moment only the base game models) and use them to start the travel screen. The driver will gain energy and fun motives, the amount of which depends on the model of the car.
How to use them:
You can find them all in the build/buy mode by searching "Ownable Car". You should get 5 results. Place the chosen car on your lot. In Live Mode, click on it and select "Drive To..." and then up to 7 Sims you want to travel with. The map will load and you can choose your destination
Limitations
This is not an implementation of real cars in the game. There are no animations and the car always stays on the home lot, it doesn't actually travel with your Sim.

Greetings! If I wanted to make a CC deco car from another creator "functional", is it as simple as adding your custom tuning to the vehicle swatches in S4S? Or, would the process be more involved than that? EDIT: Answered my own question with a little experimentation. Yes, it works perfectly!
Wow, Scarlett's Realm has your Mod listed with Unknown Issues, so can I use it with the current patch without any problem? I really love functional cars, do you know the Car Woohoo Mod, this is awesome too, but we really need a driving skill and a mechanical skill (10 Levels) and what about an integrated inventory in the backside of the car, if possible?
adeepindigo has a functional car in her SimNation Travel mod that adds some of those features such as a driving skill, etc.
Oh and the one thing I've noticed too is that it only gives Fun motive gains but no Energy despite the items claiming to do so, is it a bug?
This does seem to be the best functional car mod around that doesn't overcomplicate things either, very appreciated. If only there was a way to add more car variety indeed.
Do you know if anyone has made more functional cars for this mod? I love this mod and have been trying to find if anyone added extra cars, but can't.

Thank you! Yes, that was the original plan for when the mod became more popular. Unfortunately, there are some issues with exporting the other debug cars, as Sims 4 Studio throws an error when I try to do it. I moved on to other projects, but I will have to come back and try again sometime.
