To turn your images into your own custom backgrounds for Refreshed Main Menu 3 and Refreshed Loading Screen mods, you can use the Background Generator tool.
It guides you step by step, lets you name and preview your backgrounds in-game, and generates ready-to-use package files!

I spent hours trying to make this tool work, but it didn't. I need help. The CAS one worked perfectly, but this one didn't. The game doesn't recognize the main menu and load packages.

Love this! I use it all the time to create backgrounds based on where my sim is in their current life.
