Refreshed Opening (intro & splash screen)
Hey everyone!
I designed my own intro for The Sims 4 featuring its brand-new logo to help the game’s cohesiveness. It’s modern and fresh but also includes nostalgic nods to the series. I hope you enjoy it!
Note: This mod overrides the intro and splash screen for all languages. However, the assets are based on the English “The Sims 4” logo. If your language uses a different article (like Los, Les, De, Die), it will be replaced with “The” when using this mod.
Let me know if you encounter any major issues. I did my best to work around the game’s file compression, but please keep in mind there might still be some visible compression effects.
Changelog:
January 24th, 2025: Reduced the file size; I also added a new ‘NoSulSul’ version featuring an alternative audio. This version removes the ‘Sul Sul’ sound effect and includes a more refined audio string sampled from The Sims 4 Main Theme.

I would love to see more Intro screens, sometimes they are called Splash Screens or Opening Screens. There are very few out there, and you create the best stuff!!
I've had an issue for a while now where the opening doesn't play any sound (I use the normal file) any help?

I'm currently using Simsiboy's rebrand splash screen video because his one has the animated spinning PlumBob (https://www.patreon.com/posts/134040651?collection=361649), but I like your splash screen video too. Do you think you could make a revised version of your splash video which has the 3D PlumBob spinning animation (from this video : https://x.com/briancollins1/status/1887191291211227493 (with motion interpolation implemented)) spinning as it fades in and then slowing down to a stop as it shines, and also update the soundtrack to a mix of extracted orchestra and piano stems from the original 2014 main menu theme (using Stem Splitter on Logic Pro directly on the differences between all three mixes)?

I was wondering why my game was running a bit worse than I remembered, and I had just added a couple of your mods... I took this one out and went from 80 FPS to 112 FPS without it. Not sure why it does that. I had the one without sulsul
