I wonder if this is a bit of a trend or I have just stumbled on to two of the only examples. This one and a college football adjacent podcast where they spent an entire summer doing weekly ad reads for Coors beer where the beer was useful in stemming off the rising dread of the return of Cthulhu.
Marvels is a damn good movie you crazy Yahtz and people do in fact still respect superhero films.
Actually Yahtz some people did like Forspoken and most of the hate came from alt-right bigots.
Ya heard that Yahtzee? You's alt-right for not liking the over-budgeted meh-at-best game with the most obnoxious writing this side of Borderlands 3! Guess dunkey and the guys at Oney Plays are too as well. Look, I get being butthurt that everybody hates the game you like, I've been there a couple of times myself. But calling people alt-right and bigots for not liking the game is both unwarranted and over-dramatic and contributes to keep diluting those terms even more than they already are. Were there alt-righters who hated the game? Sure. But you know full well they didn't make up "most of the hate". By a long shot. If that was the case then most of everybody is alt-right and bigots because most of everybody didn't like Forspoken.
One has to assume icogni knew what they were getting into sponsoring a Yahtzee vid, and all power to 'em for doing so, but there is a mean little gremlin in the back of my mind chuckling at the thought their marketing department got as far as "Popular net reviewer", threw down the cash and knew no more before the video was released >:)

i think the game is pretty decent as the story and main missions are cool and the gameplay can be fun, but all the live-service stuff gets in the way.
