I am not sure how RE9 belongs in the same category of game as Pragmata, Dad of War, Last of Us 1, etc. Yeah there's a "rugged older guy, fragile younger girl" vibe (at least until rugged guy starts coughing up blood) but it's not an escort game, which is, typically, the key feature of a "burly dad" game -- burly dad has to protect wee smol bean, which is the source of the stakes and tension. RE9 instead has two parallel story tracks that only briefly intersect, instead of having both characters working together at the same time, and the escort mechanic is completely absent. So what places it in the same category with the other games mentioned in this review? (I mean, aside from the fact that apparently RE9 pissed on Yahtzee's marmite sandwich or something and he doesn't miss a chance to whinge about it.)

Ooooh, she's riding the guy's back. I thought she was carrying goalie equipment.

So no hint of Megman? I can hear Marty scratching at the door...

I can confirm water coolers full of wank are best avoided…unless you like slightly diluted wank, I suppose?

Wait, I thought we were against pre-orders? Now I'm confused.

Video game pre orders are weird because you don't know what your getting. But here you can see what is going to be on the disc before hand and make an informed decision
