One thing I wondered about after seeing that zombies retained some memory of who they were was during the prologue, when the outbreak is just starting, why that first woman felt the need to kiss a stranger on the mouth as she was changing.
Was this a nod to the movie Welcome to Raccoon City? That’s the only one where I can recall the zombies acting like this.

Is anyone going to talk about the elephant in the room that is: Tofu is real and now cannon to the realities of the RE world. It wasn't just a fun ha ha mode, he is one of the raccoon city survivors and his biology somehow makes sense as a sentient block of tofu... I need a deep thunk piece about the ramifications this might bring to our wider understanding of RE Universe.
Gotta say it, Marty's essays and columns are always an absolute treat. I love the rhythm of his writing, I can hear his voice when I read one of his texts. Sorry, I have nothing to contribute in terms of RE, guess it's alright. ^^
