Metroid Prime is my favorite game ever, but I cannot disagree with you on Prime 4 being forgettable. As I said in your review of it, I think Prime 1 and 2 were more the exception rather than the rule. Every other Prime game afterwards just hasn't gotten close to what the 1st one captured for me (3 and 4 being very linear in a railroaded way, Hunters and Fed Force being multiplayer focused, and Pinball being... well pinball) and yet I keep sticking my hand in the beehive for more.

I haven't watched this yet but I know the alters will come out of it well. I'm v grateful to Yahtzee and second wind for bringing it to my attention - it's a phenomenal and criminally underappreciated game from this year

An acknowledging nod from another Midlander. Great to see Blue Prince getting in the top 5, it was missed out of others and that surprised me as I can't see it putting a foot wrong.

Damn this year must have been pretty mediocre since my guesses for Best were fairly close, my guesses for Blandest were not, and like half of my guesses for Worst ended up in Blandest.
