Who wants to bet that somewhere there's a fanfic where Harry Styles gets throat cancer because corporate overlords made him sing a song asking people for money, so one of his bandmates and/or an avatar of the author has to go into his psyche and save him before making out with him?

When I downloaded it, there was a notice that each device was limited to 100 new accounts. I deleted it after an hour.

Of all the popular single player games to get ruined by gacha bullshit, I think I'm happiest it was P5 on account of my divisive history/opinions on the thing. Seeing people unhappy that it exists and unhappy that Atlus keeps milking it in annoying ways fills me with such glee. If it got, say, a fighting game like P4 did I think I'd lose my mind on account of my friends all being fighting game fans. Yeah, I'm not really sure why this was necessary. I assume it was a shareholder thing. They usually wait a really long time in between mainline entries but given that we're getting a P4 remake before P6 I'm not so sure my theory of P3R being a practice run for the new team holds up. Hopefully we get a new Metaphor game before too long though, I enjoyed myself with Metaphor a lot more than I did with any Persona game

Wasn't this game originally made for the Chinese market where regular Persona isn't available? Kind of less cynical on Atlus' part, although they didn't have to port this garbage to the rest of the world.

Thank you for putting yourself through this to spare the rest of us. I mean, I wasn't *planning* to play it, but . . . the whole "free to play" was trying to worm its way in through the "doesn't cost anything to find out if maaaaybe it has some redeeming elements" avenue. But I knew it would probably hurt my soul, and now I know it would definitely hurt my soul, so I can move on in peace.
