The Live Service Craze Seems to Be Over, Finally | Unpacked

Fun episode. And Wartorn has a demo--looks pretty fun. Reminds me a bit of Myth, a very old-school game made by Bungie. I wonder what they've been up to lately? ;)

I can't think of a single live service game I played during this era that I have really enjoyed, so I certainly won't complain if the industry just moves on. I WILL cry in Dragon Age a little though.

I'd like nothing more to see the greedy trend of always-online, multiplayer-focused, cash-grab riddled "live-services" die in a fire.
