[PILOT] Retro Dino Horror, Dredge but Trucks and Bustling Taverns | Wishlist

As mentioned in Unpacked this Friday, here's a new little thing we've been working on that is simply designed around highlighting upcoming games we're interested in.

There are so many games to discover out there and never enough time to get to them all, and one of my personal favorite things about games media is just finding new games to keep an eye on.

Hope you like this video and if the response is good over the next few episodes we'll keep making them!

I definitely like this type of video and will watch more of them as they come out. I personally would appreciate seeing who on the team pitched the game that's being mentioned in the little bubble at the bottom. My interests tend to line up with certain people on the team so if, say, JM8 is the one who suggested the game, I'd be more inclined to wishlist it later (as an example)

New episode this Sunday. And for right now these are all games chosen by me as this series is one of my projects - Nick

I like this, already wish-listed trunkful. If I may make a suggestion the names in the description would be helpful

Names and links are already there!

Like the idea, hope to see more. It's hard to discover games, every little helps.

I like this format. A short showcase of the developer and the game itself to spark interest, without too long if one game doesn't pique your interest

This is the sort of idea that when you see it, you wonder why it didn't exist in the first place. I really like it. You mention doing this weekly, but you could get away with doing this every two weeks or even monthly if the schedule demands. Do you have any criteria regarding at what stage in a game's development it would qualify for being highlighted?- I'd hate to build a list of cool looking games that all end up falling apart before ever reaching sale. >_<

Really like the format and the varied selection of games. Thinking back to those early game mags like Zzap!64, the best bit, beyond the reviews, were the previews of games coming soon. Problem is dev times are now so much longer and there are so few firm release windows.

This is a good idea but I also have to ask if you will cover anything that your work-for-hire branch ends up doing work for. Not because I think you guys would be swayed to put a game here that you did work for and took money from but because I'm curious if making content for a game in said branch would prevent it from being talked about here to avoid a conflict of interest

No, games that we're currently working, or in talks with for a contract on, via Lost and Found wouldn't show up in these. That said, there's always a possibility that we might work on one of them AFTER the video comes out obviously. But if that happens, we'll disclose it like always.

I like it BUT. I would like it much more if you focused on games that are already out or with a firm release date at least. I got way to many games on my wishlist already and the majority have no release date, getting a bit tired of it.

It'll be a mix!

Love this format! I really love any and all of your short review videos, be they Bytesize, Next Fest roundups, or Yahtzee Tries.

Same. I love that each section was only 60-90 seconds, so if I wasn't interested in the current one I could easily skip to the next one (or the wait wasn't long at all).

I think that’s ultimately the main reason I donate to you guys is so I can hear about new games that aren’t just all AAA stuff that’s been regurgitated again and again. I sincerely hope you guys continue to make videos like this. Only thing I’d ask is if consoles could get some love too for upcoming games. Feel like a lot of these new games tend to be only on Steam, which I get, but I know some are on console too. Thanks!
