Avowed | Fully Ramblomatic

Avowed is absolutely a good game, 20 hours in and I'm thoroughly enjoying myself. It's not trying to re-invent the genre or have the most pixels, it's only concerned with being fun, which it succeeds at more so than pretty much any AAA mass appeal blandfest of late. Also any adventure with Garrus is always welcome in my life.

Of course there's perfectly logical reasons to join Skeletor's side, you get to join in all the best skits and jockey for power with your fellow belligerent narcissistic idiots.

I really just couldn’t get into the game. Combat was fun but felt samey after an hour or two. Didn’t care about the characters enough to get super into the story and it never really felt like my decisions held weight. It was fine but given limited time in the week to sink into a video game I gave it up
