The more a game flogs its "go anywhere, do anything" bona fides, the more irritated I find myself getting when it railroads me through mandatory segments, often with "choices" and "options" that make little to no actual difference. Having to "magician's choice" failure multiple times is just bad writing.

that Far Cry 5.. do i want to replay it? yes. do i want my character get dragged into forced story segments when i’m having a blast? no.

I spent 11 hours straight yesterday playing the game, yeah it's pretty good
