Welcome to the Present of Gaming | Cold Take

Personally, I didn't feel like the product instead of the consumer in the games I played growing up, despite their interactive components and reliance on other people playing alongside me. MOBA games like LoL changed that, and it's shameful to admit that it took me a hot minute to shift my mindset and decide if it was really what i wanted to be doing with my free time. I still play video games, just not MOBAs anymore.

Gen-Z being console agnostic is one of the better pieces of news as tribalism among the olds becomes more and more entrenched.

“Make good games, play good games even if they didn’t come out in the past six months, and leave other people alone to have their fun.” Did I get that right?
