About you wanting to get to know their relationship a bit better- I suggest you watch “Wibbling Rivalry” on YouTube. It’s pretty much just an argument between the two of them lol but it highlights their differences a lot
So weird, can't get this video to play at all :(
Damn that’s so weird. I just tried it on my computer and it’s working there. Maybe try it on another browser?
When you were talking about Liam walking off stage and the way he sings. With the stance he has and the way he belts out the songs it took a massive toll on his voice so he walked off. Post 2000s oasis, liams voice fell apart
Noel’s so good with words. ( of course he is) That ending is beautiful. Honestly they are such a success story despite any of the fighting. They achieved so much coming from such an abusive home. Shout out Peggy for saving her kids. It’s good to see them on tour again, back as close as ever and doing their thing like they never left. Madness
Shout out to Peggy frrr
When they talk about traveling early on they’re talking about another band. Noel started working as part of the road crew of a band called Inspiral Carpets and traveled with them on tour helping to carry equipment, tune guitars and hide their drugs whilst Liam and the rest were starting Oasis back in Manchester. Noel had experience of being on tour without himself actually being in a band. It was after Noel got fired from that job in the early 90s that he joined Oasis. This is a breakdown of every Oasis album that also includes an overview of the bands history. https://youtu.be/77DMfnX5dJU?si=RdZq-BO2wolasb6T This is a compilation of the brothers most iconic/funniest interview moments: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M4pNfMv-P1E
Ahhhh that makes sense! Thanks for the links, I’ll check them out
"Bird? Like a parrot?" cracked me upppp man. "Our kid" is Mancunian slang for a sibling by the way, both brothers use that a lot too. Noel was originally a roadie and technician for a band called Inspiral Carpets, which is why he was touring at the beginning of the doc and going to Japan, while Liam was back home starting Oasis. Also, not sure if you caught it, but 2 and a half million people applied for tickets to their Knebworth gig, which is 4% of the British population. So yeah, huge. 14 mil applied for tickets to their reunion tour this year. They do fireworks at the end of Champagne Supernova. Alan McGee is a British music legend, best known for managing Oasis (obviously) and The Libertines - who were even worse than the Gallagher brothers, such that Alan suffered a crisis of confidence and started using again after getting sober. Worth checking out at some point for a feel of the Arctic Monkeys' original influences. He also managed My Bloody Valentine, Loveless is for sure worth checking out too if you haven't heard it.
2.5 million?? Bro wtf I’m mad I missed that. Imma be checking out libertines too for sure though!
Just for comparison, Madison Square Garden holds 20,000 for a concert. Over two nights in Knebworth, they played to 250,000. There are rumors of multiple Knebworth shows in 2026 for the 30th anniversary.
Wait that's so insane
