Anya thought Barnaby was fighting with a frog because the word “kusarigama” or “sickle and chain” comes from the Japanese “kusari” which means chain and “kama” which means sickle. Due to language rules too advance for Anya, the “k” in kama turns to a “g” in kusarigama and she gets tripped up because “gama” is the word for toad.
I forgot how brutal these deaths feel when they're showing Yor in assassin mode 😩 I mean we've definitely seen some worse deaths from other animes but for some reason these feel brutal cuz we think it's a happy go lucky slice of life then BAM hits you with Yor's pins going thru someones head 😭😂
The tone shifts of this show gives me whiplash. Silly family antics one minute, brutal assassin kills the next! Lol
