For the past year, after the first run of the show, I really just watched the Pam/Rak scenes over again, i completly skipped over most of Nene's stuff and the father stuff, and even a lot of the Kawi mental health issues. Nothing against the other actors, I just loved Pam/Rak so much that I just rewatched their scenes. So watching the full episodes again has been such a treat, and teaches me not to do that anymore because the Nene storyline and Kawi storyline and the Mom storyline is so incredibly moving. I have watched so many GLs treat their side or B storylines with so little time and care, so for US to treat not one, not two but so many of their side stories with the respect that it deserves helped make this show so top notch. Of course Pam/Rak are the featured players, but because of Kawi and Nene and everyone else it just makes the whole series so well rounded. This show is the gold standard of how to make a proper show, not just a GL.

Imagining Grandma Bua skydiving is actually hilarious 😭Every time Dee starts dying laughing I can't help but laugh too. There is this one moment from the Loyal Pin reactions where Anin is drawing Pin and Dee is like "That kinda looks like me" and Meesh goes "You sure? 🤔" LMFAO It kills me every single time and Dee laughing makes it worse. This show is messing me up again. It is so warm and soft one moment and then something devastating happens.

I didn't remember how ridiculous that transition to the Kawi in hospital scene was until i re-watched the show again recently. It's legitimately the only thing about this show that i think is done poorly; it's such a wildly out of the blue scene??? We all know that he's been struggling, but to just suddenly cut to a scene in the hospital and get told that he tried to kill himself is so jarring! Especially after such a loving family scene before it, and with absolutely no buildup or explanation. It's such a weird decision?! Literally all they needed to do was end the scene before it with Rak getting a phonecall from her mother, and letting us see Rak's face change to worried. They wouldn't even have had to explain what happened. Just give us a bit of transition! It would have taken so little. It feels like such a big mistake when the rest of the show is so fantastic though 😔 I wonder if it's to do with Thai tv's obsession with putting everything into flashbacks? We see it all later anyway. It would have made way more sense to just play everything in order from the scene where the mother asks for a divorce, and then follow the story to the hospital. I wonder if they do that because they want to pre-empt any fear for the viewers? Or because they have certain rules they have to follow when it comes to morality in Thai entertainment, that's why they always have that disclaimer in the beginning. So maybe we go straight to the hospital so we see that Kawi is OK *before* we ever knew he hurt himself, so that we don't worry? Anyway, the rest of this episode is fricking glorious. We get to see Pam and Rak's families finally coming together, we get to see Khun Mae finally standing up for herself and her family, and for Mim a bit too. I agree with you, the actress really is fire, it's such a shame we see so little of her before this. And we get this HUGE development in Pam and Rak's relationship where they say F it, Grandma has terminal cancer, we're not getting this time back so let's do what we want to, let's move to the country together and be a real family. It's so beautiful, and it really exemplifies Rak's personality. It's so uncomplicated for her, and there's no doubts or difficulties. What does Grandma want? OK, let's do that then. End of story. We love each other, we love her, what's there to question about it? I adore Rak so much. In the GL fandom, we always joke about who the biggest green flag is, but let's be honest. All other green flags are just made from the offcuts of Rak's green flag. She is the OG, the GOAT. The Ur green flag. May we all find a flag as green as Dokrak 🤞❤️🥰

I genuinely think Us The Series is one of the best dramas at portraying and handling dark themes in such a healthy, realistic way. It never sugar-coats anything. There are no last-second miracles, no forced redemption arcs for villains, and it doesn't romanticize revenge. Instead, it shows healthy ways of dealing with conflict, trauma, and the consequences of our choices. That's one of the reasons the finale is among my favorites. Every character has been carefully built up from the beginning, and the whole time you're wondering when everything is finally going to explode and how all these storylines could possibly come together. Then, piece by piece, everything falls into place in a way that feels earned, believable, and incredibly satisfying. A masterpiece. 💙 I DON'T WANT IT TO END!! 😭 M&D, thank you for such a beautiful reaction! It made reliving this incredible series even more special.

Agree with you 100%. I remember watching the show for the first time and expecting all the usual bs drama from miscommunications and over the top situations, which in other GLs always get fixed immediately with no effort. But this show does something so different. The conflicts and drama are realistic. Cheating dad. Sick Grandma. Anger and resentment. Depression. But those conflicts don't get magically fixed either. Dad stays a cheater. Grandma stays sick. The anger and resentment doesn't just evaporate, they have to work through it. And the depression doesn't just go away, it takes time and love to heal. This show understands real life in a way that so many GLs don't. But it isn't mundane or monotonous either, because the characters are wonderful people and the writing is beautiful. Us is truly a masterpiece of the genre.

Just like the scenes where Pam goes to wake up her grandma. You as a watcher feel the extreme agonizing fear that she might not wake up, and... when you think about it, that exactly what Pam is feeling every day. I think that "horrible transition" is in fact very intentional as a lot of 'random' details in the series are. Life is like that. You are happy and then in a second, life can change completely out of nowhere. They handle so many many difficult subjects and they handle them so well, there are so many details. As for Nene... she needs so much time to heal and she needs people... I like that Oat and Nene is not like getting into a relationship right away just because. I think the priority with Nene is her healing before she can love herself and then love someone esle .

fun fact: the "how could I live without you?" line was actually improv. In that moment, emi was literally thinking about bonnie when she said that. That's probably why it doesn't come across as corny.

Another heart wrenching episode ❤️‍🩹 I’m liking how in many gl stories social issues are being brought to the forefront. Let’s not hide behind injustice. The stories also highlight the human messiness and flaws we all have. Sometimes it’s redeemable— sometimes not so much(like the dad who is so narcissistic he can’t acknowledge his evil ways because he doesn’t think it’s a problem). It really is a very well done series. I’m curious to see Emi&Bonnie in Moonshadow. It’ll be a very different vibe for them.

Yes it’s the same house. The more GLs you watch the more you will see some of the same homes and offices!! It’s pretty cool to spot the same places in other shows!! 😂😂
