I was shook when they did that to Ursula. I was so sad to see she gets taken away from her kids right in front of them no less. No wonder Zuko and Azula have Mommy issues.
Dee, your hair looks so nice when its down ! This episode was even better than the first ! Toph's actress gave a pretty good first impression and some of the added convos with Zuko's mom was a good addition. The Zuko and that new girl mini arc was also pretty wholesome too. The only part I didn't like was the direction of the final battle. It honestly felt a bit awkward, like as if the characters didn't know where to stand and some lines are purposefully left out, idk just felt off to me. I actually did a little deep dive after watching this episode with you guys and I found out that these first 2 episode is roughly around 8-10 episodes worth of content from the original. Since Book 2 only has 20 episodes total, that leaves around 10-12 episodes worth of content for the remaining 5 episodes. I think this is really good since like u said Meesh, this episode’s pacing felt a bit rushed and a lot happened, hopefully these next 5 will flow a lot more nicely !
