Sync Guidelines

Our videos are edited in a watch-along format, which means you’ll need your own copy of the film or show to sync with us.

We will always count down 3… 2… 1… START — press play exactly when we say “Start” to stay in sync.

To follow copyright laws and give you the best viewing experience, our reactions must be paired with your own copy of the content. We take copyright very seriously, which is why we do not provide full uncut episodes or movies. Even if you see other creators doing it, that doesn’t make it legal — sharing full studio content crosses into a copyright gray area that we’re not willing to risk for our channel.

Here are some recommended ways to watch along with ease:

• React Sync (Recommended):

The easiest way to watch along is by using React Sync! Simply load our reaction, connect your streaming platform, and React Sync will help keep both videos aligned for a smoother, more immersive experience.

• Dual Monitor Setup:

If you’re on a PC, using two monitors allows you to keep the reaction and your show/movie visible side by side.

my take on S1 of WHA: I think it started off very strong. Episode 5 was insane and great pacing. Then they had some "character development" plots in the second half which probably could have been maybe cut by half or down to a third and still conveyed the same feelings with less animations etc. The second half is the anime equivalent of "this could have been an email", up to the second trial, and then maybe expand a little more and show the remaining of the Second Test arc. I think the animation is currently holding that show up a little. To be fair, people said the same thing about the first quarter of S1 of Demon slayer and the "recovery arc" of s1 at the end, in terms of "nothing really happened", and that anime had the movie and season 2 come out strong and push the pacing for the rest of the show. So maybe that's what's happening thing. Maybe it's the Tanjiro VA's S1 curse lol. But i don't think it's going to be a BAD anime, i think it will be a good niche anime that might improve in season 2 with the feedback they got here, and with slightly more budget, they can maybe make it faster? The second part of this season felt like the filler i felt in the excalibur arc of Sword Art Online, which was maybe ~5-8 episodes of "ok cool, but like, this could have been just 1 episode", even though the SAO first season was fire, and then it had the same pacing issue i faced in the second half of WHA during some parts of Arc 2 of SAO, and then went on to fix the facing and go nuclear good in the latter seasons. So yeah, Meesh, Dee, this is unfortunately not a hot take for you guys, but it's also unfortunate not UNCOMMON in anime shows to find their footing/pacing. Many animes suffer from that first season/arc's world building pacing vs engagement retention. You've just been blessed that we've been recommending god tier anime to you that has already had a few seasons or strong movie out , with the hindsight that you will remain engaged by the time you keep up before having to wait for the long wait between seasons :) Imagine you watched AoT S1, and it was still great, and had ZERO answers to ANY questions you had... and then left on a cliffhanger for almost 4-6 years between seasons 1 and 2 and platforms adopting it for streaming, many people felt back then that they wish they had more (even though S1 aot was PACKED in h indsight with hidden lore and easter eggs and rewatcheable content that you miss on first watch, with amazing VAs and emotional trauma). This WHA however, felt like it needed more of what happened to Euni to be more dramatic across the episodes + maybe ~3 more episodes focused on this finale episode expansion instead of just filler in between :)

to clarify, the penguin things freaked out inside the cloak because Euni was seen as a humna without wearing a cloak under that, whereas agott and richeh had their cloaks on to look like the penguin thingies. so the penguins freaked out because euni was this random human that just appeared out of nowhere from their perspective, through the illusion. side note: can we talk about those high tech Parker Stylus pens they have? using them to write on rough graninte like it's paper without breaking the tip? Where was THAT during my highschool days lol
