Yes, mysteries from many episodes may come back into play. I'm glad Meesh is remembering those. This show isn't episodal, despite how it seems right now. There's a looming bunch of mysteries, so I strongly recommend the notebook approach to track who did what and what's currently left in the open. While you do remember things right now, you may not remember them if they're brought up again in S2, hence the notebook recommendation :) similar to AoT where (spoiler for AoT S4) things in S1 may seem insignificant (like eren being unable to balance himself on the ODM gear, only to find out 4 seasons later on why that happened and WHY that person sabotaged it. And @meesh, to answer your discussion question: they're trying to find the person who had the burns on their hands because jinshi (for some reason) thinks it might be related to the attempted assassination attempt on concubine Lishu (the young girl). And now they're saying this suspect might be the head lady in waiting of concubine Ah-Duo, which the other ladies in waiting (that are friends with maomao) said that there's bad blood between the Lishu pavillion and the Ah Duo pavillion because of their history with the current emperor and previous emperor. Also, meesh, you are the FIRST reactor EVER (amongst dozens that i've seen) that called cap on the soldier that put salts in the drink that it might be a girl dressed as a man vs a man... whether you're right or wrong, that's a new one for me in terms of reactions : I've literally never seen anyone outside of my own crackpot tinfoil brain say that exact same line about the eyes... i wont tell you if i ended up being a crackpot conspiracy theorist or correct, because I'll let you experience that decision yourself, but I wanted to say you were not alone at the time to think that, as a kindred spirit. And yes, Dee, it IS like attack on titan in terms of mysteries and clues and easter eggs, even in the montage/flashbacks, they sometimes drop hints at things that haven't been explained yet and they let you simmer on them ;) Good job so far ladies! I hope you're enjoying my recommendation of a show? I thought it's a good balance between the emotional notes and love story vs the mysteries that tickle your brains! Woot Woot! I hope I did well with my recommendation that i've been pushing for, for roughly 1.5 years and we're finally getting it! And this is still technically the prologue of the show, lmao. This show only gets better and better! :D
