I love the makima denji scene because it really shows that denji struggles to understand what he actually wants and what relationships are. He thought touching boobs was what he was supposed to want, but makima showed him the difference between impersonal contact and real intimacy. He thought he wanted boobs, but he wants to be wanted. As do we all. It also shows how naive and easily groomed our poor boy is.
Also regarding season 2, we only have a teaser trailer so far so my guess is that it will be sometime next year
This series is great. Forgot how much I enjoyed S1. Also don’t feel bad if you get overly excited for the movie based on feedback from people. It will still exceed your expectations as it’s a 10/10 in everything from animation to voice acting to music to story telling. Lol
