I'm glad you see where Denji is coming from instead of just being like "oh another anime kid obsessed with sexualization". He's a 16 year old that has never been to school, any structured social event, and has never interacted with another human that wasn't transactional and abusive. We just saw him eat a topping on his bread for the first time in his life. The other great thing you mention is that he's so excited for boobs, but isn't forcing himself on anyone. Consent vs abuse vs manipulation is a foundational theme for this story. All said, Denji was barely surviving in the bottom level of Maslow's hierarchy, breathing was the only thing he was guaranteed, while food, water, shelter, clothing, and sleep were always a variable for the day. Makima finds him and suddenly he is thrust up through physiological needs, but is also supplied with safety and security, and finds himself completely lost in the foreign land of "love and belonging". Just wandering around wondering what friends are, What intimacy is, And what boobs are like. In a funny kind of way, his determination to touch boob is him clawing his way up Maslow's pyramid to self actualization.
Yessssss, I hate seeing brainless Internet takes like "Denji is such a gooner XDDD" from people all the time. Its the worst mischaracterisation ever and it pisses me off so bad. I'm glad more people are locking in and actually reading into behaviour rather than just looking at it from a surface level

Every episode has a different ending song and animation starting from this episode one of the only anime that has ever done it I think
Great reaction as always. I can't wait for the next Chainsaw man episode to drop. As for Denji. He isn't a fiend. He is something else according to Makima because he "merged" with Pochita but Denji remains in control. Whereas fiends, like Power, are devils who have taken over a dead body but they keep their personality but have distinct head/facial features. Power has horns and the fiend Denji killed had bug like mandibles, etc. However Power is special because as Makima said she is relatively rational.
