I also decided to watch the original. After watching the reset both are really good. Not sure why some of the fans from the original be hating.

This episode is way better for me because it really address all bad people involved in the whole harassment situation (the boys and the principal), also nanno is the center of everything since the beginning, whereas in the last one the dad just kept his violence behavior at home without any consequence and it were more focused on sky than in nanno herself... which made the episode feels so short while this one even tho it's actually shorter didn't felt that way. As for the ▽ symbol: in Nazi concentration camps, the inverted triangle was a color-coded classification system sewn onto uniforms to identify a prisoner's "category". Specifically the black triangle identified asocials women, it was used to mark women who was seen as immoral, including lesbians, sex workers, feminists, homeless women or those who refused to marry and have children.

This episode was more digestible for me too. I’m not into this genre therefore I haven’t watched the first two seasons, though Idc what’s the approach for the next couple episodes, if it’s either more gore or sinister or whatever, I’m mostly focusing on Becky’s performance and I think she’s killing it 😊

Hi Guys, the triangle sign that Nano makes is her way of controlling whoever she wants to, including the dog, and the school students. Becky is killing it.

I think every episode will have a different feel to it since every episode has a different director. I enjoyed both the first and second episode, but maybe the second a little more since it showed Nanno scheming her revenge more. And of course, Becky's acting is fascinating to watch. As for the original. I think if you can handle the darkness you will continue to enjoy it. I liked both seasons of the original but definitely think the second season was stronger. Like the reset, every episode has a different director, so every episode has a different feel to it. I really enjoyed that about it and am glad to see the reset playing out similarly in that regard.

The karma of this episode is visceral! Nanno is fearless. Becky scores again as she grows into the role more and more. Cool commentary, M&D!

Meesh saying Eat my ass caught me so off guard, I almost fell out of my chair laughing. And Dee’s reaction to it. 🤣 Priceless. I never finished the whole of the first Nanno series, but I thought the Nanno in that version was pretty emotionless. She would hurt innocent people if it helped the revenge and never seemed to really care about the victims she was “helping.” I feel like Becky plays the Nanno with a bit more compassion and justice. I’m a little surprised she never did anything to the bully’s dad in the first ep. I’m liking the reset though. Still dark and disturbing, but not quite so brutal and savage. Guess we’ll see if that remains true.

Really enjoyed ep 1 but this ep was even better we got more Nanno. Becky is so good as Nanno I’m so glad she didn’t just try to be like the original actress, who was also excellent, but she made her own version of Nanno.

The original is very dark. Dee, not sure you will be able to watch the entire 2 seasons. But, that said Becky is killing it!!!

I want to compare episode 1 and 2 - they are both really good but for me, episode 2 was killing it. It's been a while since I watched something this surprising, knowing fully well that I'd be surprised, yet, still got surprised in the end. In episode 1, everything was new and we do not quite see Becky in it - like 10 minutes or less - which was too short for me since she is literally the GFN. Episode 2 was written cleverly, like the audience knows something good is coming but we cannot tell what exactly. (At least that's how I felt) The story telling, the pace was really good. This episode could easily be longer; perhaps even can be made as a movie. Funny enough, I got the "Old Boy" vibes from it, especially on how the story progresses... It was meant to be a joke by MD but good catch about the mother. I guess we all were expecting something superficial when the Nanno's underwear shot comes back on screen or when she pulls her skirt higher but no... The narrative was simpler and way better. I have no words for the scenario or Becky. Chills...

I love the different Nanno’s. It reminds me of Doctor Who , where every couple of years a new Actor plays the Doctor and each showcases their own version of the Doctor. The same can be said here with Nanno. Especially since they just introduce a Japanese Nanno that will be airing soon. Everyone will have their favorite of course but you can still appreciate the different versions.

I liked Ep2 better than Ep1 because this episode gave me the things I liked about the original. Which makes the delivering of karma is more satisfying in a way because it was so clever, strategic & very Nanno-like. I still see the way Becky's Nanno is different because the OG Nanno doesn't have any sympathy even towards the victims which makes Becky's Nanno seem a little bit evolved. And Sky's appearance in this episode kinda reminds me of Yuri, which is one of the central characters in Season 2 of the original. Ep 2 is kinda refreshing for me in a sense that, in a way, it shows me that despite the changes they made, they somehow kept the essence of what made the original so good, dark & twisted but good. And that essence was the missing ingredient for me in Ep 1. I'm looking forward to Ep 3 coz I'm curious to what topic they're gonna deal with next, it looked like virtual reality stuff. Janeyeh's story is Ep 4, I think. And I can't wait to see that! I'm more excited now after seeing Janeyeh in person this weekend ☺️ Side note: If you want to see Janeyeh & Film on screen together, you have to watch Home School (GMMTV yt channel). This isn't a request to react to it, just watch it offline coz it's so good. It's not a GL, but there are a few current GL actors in it (View, Love, Pringking, Film & Jane). It's not horror but it's a psychological thriller.

Also, all 6 episodes were directed by different directors, so the episodes will differ from each other one way or another

Becky is killing it! Great acting, I was scared of her face in that room with 3 guys when she grabbed Pecks hand. I never gonna stop saying how proud I am of her!

Kitty’s version always felt very calm and kind of intimidating at the same time. She usually looks like she already knows exactly what’s going to happen and she’s just waiting for everything to play out. Her smile is also a big part of it. It’s that kind of smile that makes it feel like she’s enjoying watching people fall into their own mistakes. The way she talks is very controlled too, like nothing ever really surprises her. (I freaking loved her) With Becky’s Nanno, at least in the two episodes we have so far, the energy feels a little different. She comes off more direct and a bit more expressive with her reactions. Sometimes it feels like she’s more involved in what’s happening in the moment instead of just observing everything. In a few scenes she also feels a little colder, and not as playful as Kitty’s Nanno usually was. Another thing is the overall presence. Kitty’s Nanno always had that very mysterious vibe, almost like a supernatural figure that just appears, causes chaos, and disappears again. Becky’s version, for now, feels a bit more human in the way she interacts with the other characters. But it’s also early to fully compare them since Becky only has two episodes so far. So this is mostly just first impressions. Right now Kitty’s Nanno feels more calculated and playful, while Becky’s feels more direct and a little colder.

Egg roll 🤣 too funny! This was a much tamer episode than the first😳. They make it creepy with the slow motion and intense music. So glad you were less freaked out Dee - you can always hold Meesh’s hand for comfort. After your thoughts about the og show, I’ll give a go too.

Oh and about the x-ray vision lol Nanno asked if it's his phone because the flash is on (like she just found it and wonder if the phone is his). And flash in thaï is "fai". But she was trolling him in the prononciation because mole in thaï is also "fai" but prononce differently lol So he panicked at first because she's asking if it was his because of the mole on it and then she was trolling him by prononcing it with "flash" to make référence at the phone. Like he was him who was paranoïd and misunderstud at first 🤭 I love this kind of easter egg eheh because the traduction do not keep it right. (and I hope I make myself clear lol I'm french so I make mistake and I apologize for it 🙏🏻)

https://x.com/i/status/2032870987864416605 I really agree with this explanation of the end of this ep. Because most people found it vulgar or like the boys' getting exactly what's they want and that Nanno is kind of selling herself. But I disagree. The end is fire and theatricaly grotesc! And the way consent is depaint at the end I love it! And I'm agree with you, the fact the girls took control and revenge by themselves (mostly) I'm realy glad they shooted it like that because girls regained their power and they're not only victims. They act on it. Perfectly 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 I'm glad you liked the episode 🤗 Thank you for sharing with us ❤️

One cool theory I personally have about Nanno (The original and Becky’s Nanno) is that they are in the same universe but are sent when they are needed by their respective main source. Nanno has been considered by fans as “daughter of Satan or Lucifer/demon” she isn’t human but more so a symbol and an alter ego that represents karma. I personally believe that Becky is a new version of Nanno that was created based on the original version of her, one that is more so a “child” and hasn’t had much experience as the original Nanno. Argo why she does things differently than the original Nanno and doesn’t show much of her abilities “immortality, reality manipulation, illusion inducement, teleportation” she is seen more as “normal” and uses the help of others to enact her justice. She only ever used her abilities without restriction on what was considered one of her early assignments with Sky. Perhaps she hasn’t mastered all of her abilities as the original Nanno, this might explain why she went a little rogue in episode one and had a vision that Sky beat up his bullies instead of sparing them. She wanted him to- she hoped he would but his resistance was what made her rethink her tactics.

Love that you’ve given the original a go but yeah Dee might need to duck out for some eps 😂 Really enjoying Becky’s interpretation of Nanno though
