Gave me chills too! Such nostalgia the moment her music plays. She was/is a real inspiration and comfort, especially during the years when you are learning & maybe struggling just to accept yourself. So happy it's being made into a movie and can't wait for June 19th
I'm also one of those baby gays who literally worshipped Hayley Kiyoko. Her music saved me when I was living alone in Japan. So I feel like this movie is a full circle moment for Hayley and all her fans.
I immediately checked my work schedule to see if I have off opening weekend. And I do! Hope the theaters are prepared to have audiences full of us lesbians. 馃槏

We have to show up for our Lesbian Jesus. Another lesbian author posted I think in twitter that we have to show up even if the movie turns out to be bad.( which I doubt). Just to show the industry that we want more representation. And the only way to get is to show up.
