Sync Guidelines

Our videos are edited in a watch-along format, which means you’ll need your own copy of the film or show to sync with us.

We will always count down 3… 2… 1… START — press play exactly when we say “Start” to stay in sync.

To follow copyright laws and give you the best viewing experience, our reactions must be paired with your own copy of the content. We take copyright very seriously, which is why we do not provide full uncut episodes or movies. Even if you see other creators doing it, that doesn’t make it legal — sharing full studio content crosses into a copyright gray area that we’re not willing to risk for our channel.

Here are some recommended ways to watch along with ease:

• Dual Monitor Setup:

If you’re on a PC, using two monitors allows you to keep the reaction and your show/movie visible side by side.

• Split-Screen Viewing:

Most devices — laptops, tablets, and even some phones — allow split-screen mode so you can watch both videos together.

Using these methods will help you stay perfectly in sync and get the smoothest, most immersive reaction experience. 😊

Luffy doesn't lie! When he said he knew Usopp's father, Yassop, he was telling the truth. If you watch the flashbacks in the first two episodes, you'll see one of Shanks' crewmates wears a headband that reads "YASSOP"!

I love this adaptation. There's a different pacing from the anime that appeals more to me. Onward to Ep 4! :)

This was definitely the episode that was probably the most "rough" for me, as it's by far the part that is most heavily changed from the original source material. In the original, they never really spend time in Kaya's mansion, and actually, a majority of the arc is spent outside, not to mention there were a bunch of characters that were removed. Another difference from the original is that Koby is not involved at all during this arc either, and in fact doesn't reappear in the manga/anime for like another 300-400 chapters/episodes lol. I personally don't mind him being reintroduced this early, as technically speaking, most of the stuff between him and Garp happened in the "cover" pages for each chapter during the time these arcs were happening, and so it makes sense to address those parts. One of the things that Oda (the original creator) loved doing was having little side stories in the cover chapters that preview story threads that might eventually be addressed in the story proper. Koby being trained by Garp was one of the first of the cover page side stories that he did. (I think it might have actually been the first, but its been a hot minutes so dont quote me on that haha). Excited to see your reaction to future episodes. As a long time One Piece fan its always cool to see people who don't know the story see it for the first time as its been a long time since these early arcs have been new to me and its nice to have a fresh perspective on them.

Loving these reactions. Few notes of additional context for you both. As far as I’m aware (I’m not super far into OP overall story in the anime) but many characters will display certain abilities that you may think are devil fruit powers that are actually just displays of what is physically obtainable in OP. Similar to Zoro picking up that big heavy chest in the first episode on his back. So not all characters with weird abilities have eaten Devil Fruits. Also - you did see something about Klahadore in something in an earlier episode! Lol his wanted poster was in Axe Hand’s chest. Axe Hand claimed he captured him which led to him being a more popular marine. Was obviously just cap though Usopp’s father is the pirate on Shanks crew who had the cool richochet shot with his gun in the flashback fight earlier this season.

You are right, we do see Kuro's poster (but only the name written) in the safe Nami opened in episode 2, the poster was right next to the map of the Grand Line, good catch ! Also, they talked about him in episode 1, The captain with the big axe was famous for "allegedly" captured him.

I don't think it's a secret or anything but yeah Dee, Ussop's dad really is part of Shank's crew. You see him a few times back during Luffy's childhood flashback
