I just upgraded my Patreon for the watchalongs after I watched your first three Heated Rivalry highlights on YouTube. My husband doesn’t rewatch things, and I rewatch everything I like, so I like to find watchalongs for my rewatches. I’d watched a bunch of your reactions before (Agatha All Along is the one that’s stuck in my head, but you were in my regular rotation), and this put me over the top on the Patreon. Y’all are so on-point in making really great observations. Don’t get me wrong, as a gay guy married to a bi guy, I can see where the others are coming from, but I think being closer in age to Shane and Ilya at that time, I think you’re right about how things were then. (Russia’s only gotten worse, unfortunately.) I loved the U-Haul reference, btw. I got disowned as a teenager when my school outed me, and my “found family” in college were probably 2/3 queer women, so the U-Haul is the first “family” queer joke I ever heard. I haven’t seen it yet, obviously, but my jaw dropped when you described coming out to parents — I can’t wait to see your Ep. 6 reaction! Anyway, I’ve gone on too long… One last thing: I love the Japanese Lakers cap: レイカーズ is maybe the first time I’ve ever seen the “katakana-as-English” where it reads correctly both ways, that’s awesome! And guys i find that for gay men it’s easier to have sex just like that haha fast, my gay fiend told me that they have places even in parks that they just meet somewhere specific and they have sex with strangers or where i live in the public transport, a subway, the last carriage it’s for men to hook up! i think for women we need more emotional connection for that kinda thing

i love kip too, he’s such a sweetheart, they’re the first couple in the book, “game changers” then it’s “ heated rivalry” with Ilya and shane! And i guess yes, they are showing the contrast of them, i think the difference is their families for ex Kips dad is such a supportive person, and even when scott has his issues he is better at communicating and expressing his emotions. I haven’t really thought of Ilya and Shane’s relationship as toxic but i guess that when you said it, it really is toxic :/ And yes i think your stories and how you relate it’s so interesting to hear! sorry if i there’s something where i didn’t express myself well, english it’s not my first lenguaje. 🫶🏼

Oh man, I only have time to watch one of your post's before going in to work night shift. Definitely going to have to be this one. Love Design is safe to watch in my downtime there, but Heated Rivalry is 100% not work viewing safe. 55555
